What the
Marine Workout is all About
We all know that the Marines are some of the fittest and
strongest individuals around and this can be credited to the
strict and rigorous training they have to undergo. The training
that Marines go through when it comes to involves different
kinds of workouts. One such workout is what you will be getting
here. This is called the 15 minute workout. This workout gets
you to challenge your core and forces you to do as many sets as
you can with only one minute rests in between each exercise
variation.
The 15 minute Marine workout starts with the dumbbell squat
press. You need to have a couple of dumbbells for this exercise
and you will be doing eight to 12 reps of this exercise before
you move on to the next one. The second exercise in this
routine is the single are incline row. You will also need to do
eight to twelve reps of this exercise. The last exercise of
this trio is the Turkish getup. This exercise is executed with
you lying down and getting up a few times with the added
resistance of the weight of your dumbbells. You need to do four
to six rep of this one.
After you have done all of these three exercises in proper
form and proper succession with only a minute’s rest in between
each exercise, you will need to start over again with the
dumbbell squat press until you complete the whole fifteen
minutes that you have allotted for this Marine workout.
