How Difficult
is the 300 Movie Workout?
Many people were awed by the amazing bodies of the actors in
the movie “300” and it got them to wondering, how did these men
get such ripped and well sculpted bodies? The answer to that is
the 300 movie workout.
The workout was specially programmed by trainer Craig
Ballantyne and was built specifically to force the actors’
bodies to produce the kind of results that were needed for the
movie. This exercise regimen consists of numerous reps of
certain exercises that focus on parts of the body that need to
be really defined.
When asked if the 300 movie workout is tough, the person who
invented this regimen insists that it can be done but only if
you have had previous weight and fitness training. This means
that this workout is tough and to prove it, only half of the
cast and the movie’s stunt crew were actually able to
successfully complete this routine.
While the workout is tough, it is doable. You need not do
the exact same routine as the people in the movie though. There
is a revised version of this exercise routine meant for those
who do not really need the quick bulges of muscles that the
movie workout gives.
The revised 300 movie workout lowers the reps down to 150
for men and 100 for women. Some of the exercises have also been
replaced with similar yet less intense versions of the original
ones in the program. While this revised workout does guarantee
results, don’t expect it to be as defined and as bulge
producing as the original workout.
