Chest Workouts
at Home - Easy Steps To Follow
Chest workouts are popular among many men in the gym. Many
spend a lot of time in doing routines that target the chest
muscles. A lot also spend time in machines that help build big
chests. They probably have different reasons for doing so but
one thing is for sure, having well developed chest muscles make
men look good. But not all men are lucky enough to have time
and money to spend in the gym. If you are one of the unlucky
ones, do not worry. You can do chest workouts at home also.
An easy chest workout that you can do at home is pushup.
Here are the steps to properly do it.
1.Be in a prone position on the floor.
2.Put your hands under your body. They should be a shoulder
width away from each other.
3.Raise yourself up using your arm muscles. Make sure that you
create a straight line from the head down to the knees if you
are going to do the pushups on your knees or from the head down
to the heals if you are going to do the pushups on your feet.
This is your starting position.
4.Lower your torso to the ground. Stop when your elbows already
make a 90 degree angle. Once you reach that point, raise your
torso up by pushing the floor until you return to the starting
position.
5.Repeat step number four.
Another chest workout that you can do at home is the
dumbbell fly. Here are the steps that you must follow.
1.Lie on your back on a carpeted or cushioned floor.
2.Spread your arms with the dumbbells straight on your sides
but the elbows shouldn’t lock.
3.Put your feet flat on the floor and bend your knees.
4.Lift the dumbbells up until they almost meet each other in
front of you. Your arms must be straight but without the elbows
locked.
5.Slowly lower the dumbbells and bring them black to the floor.
Do this slowly since this is actually the portion where the
muscles receive more tension.
6.Repeat steps four and five several times.
You can do these chest workouts at home so you can still
develop your chest even without spending time and money on the
gym. Always remember to do warm up exercises first before you
begin.
