The 300
Spartan workout unveiled
What can possibly be fiercer than the 300 Spartans who
fought the countless Persian army under King Xerxes during 480
BC? This phenomenon has been a historical event that anyone
would never forget. The Spartan troop was lead by King
Leonidas, and his 300-men fought in great honor of their
country, Sparta.
Feast the eyes for their bodies are well toned and in
great shape than any other men one could ever find. Anyone
would even wonder, how did they ever get to have those gorgeous
bodies and could that be possibly achieved.
Surprisingly, it can be achieved! The 300 Spartan workouts
have unveiled the secrets to their seemingly perfect body. The
300 Spartan workouts are not as easy as one may think. The
routine has been derived from the name itself – 300.
Yes, 300 repetitive exercises are given to these men in
order to have that body. The effort really does pay off. In
order to achieve it, one must work extra extra hard for that
body.
It is comprised of seven (7) kinds of exercises: a.) 25
times pull-ups, b.) 135-pound dead lifts repeated for 50 times,
c.) 50 push ups, d.) using a 24-inch box, one must do box jumps
for 50 counts, e.) 135-pound floor and shoulder workout called
the “Floor wipers” done for 50 times, f.) weight lifting
exercises weighing 36 pounds or 50 repeats of clean and press,
and lastly, g.) another 25 pull-ups.
The routine totals to 300 repeats, accordingly, done about
thrice a week. To make it even harder, the above-mentioned
workout is done under limited time pressure so there’s no rest
in between shifts of exercises since the trainers of these 300
people in the film score them by the time they’ve used to
finish the exercise.
In all humility, exercising this hard is a good test to how
effective vigorous exercises are. The harder it is, the better
you become. No one needs to worry about this routine being
ineffective because looking at it closely, there’s no way this
routine would ever fail in achieving that perfect body.
