A Chest Workout Routine that You Can Do Anytime, Anywhere

If you think that only men look at well developed chests of women, you are mistaken. Women also look at well developed chests of men. The chest area is one of the first things that people notice because it is close to the face. Thus it is important that you give enough attention to develop it. There are different exercises that you can do to achieve a well toned chest but the simplest and easiest chest workout routine that you can do is pushup. It is an exercise that many people are familiar with. It can be done just about anywhere. However, even if it is a common exercise, you still need to carefully study the steps on how to do it because many people do it the wrong way.

Here are the steps on how to properly do the pushup routine.

1.There are two ways to do pushups. You can do pushups on your knees or you can do pushups on your feet. For beginners, it is usually suggested to do pushups on the knees.
2.Begin by assuming a prone position on the floor. Put your hands under you.
3.Lift your body up by pushing the floor until your arms are almost straight. Do not lock your elbows. You must form a straight line from your head to either your knees or your feet. This is your starting position.
4.Lower your body to the ground by bending your elbows until they make 90 degree angles. Do not rush this step. This should take you about two second to complete.
5.Raise your body up by straightening the arms but again, without locking the elbows. Like step number four, do this step slowly. This should also take you about two seconds to complete.
6.Repeat steps number four and five several times.

When you do pushups, you must follow these steps properly to avoid injuries. Your well developed chest will be of no good if you injure yourself in the process of developing it.
