300 Training
Workout Guide
So you’ve decided to do the 300 training workout and are
raring to go. Before you do this very rigorous and very
strenuous workout, you need to know what you are getting
yourself into, and ask yourself if you are up to the
challenge.
This workout, which is the exercise regimen that the cast of
the movie “300” undertook a few months before shooting began,
is an intense workout designed by trainer Craig Ballantyne.
This workout consists of exercises that are made to force the
body to produce fast results and has a total of 300 reps for
the entire program.
Doing the 300 training workout may be somewhat of an extreme
challenge for those who have not had previous weight training,
therefore it is important that you first consult with a doctor
or a training professional before you go and do this workout.
The workout that builds lean mass in such a short time is
sometimes called supersets. A superset is essentially a workout
that you do continuously without taking a rest in between the
different kinds of exercises that you do. This Spartan training
is essentially the same.
When you do the 300 training workout, you will be doing the
300 reps continuously without taking a break in between the
various exercises that you do. If you find that doing the
original workout that Craig Ballantyne designed for the movie
is too much for you to begin with, you can start off with the
tamer version that has you doing 150 reps of various exercises.
Once you have built up enough stamina and strength from this
routine, you can then move on to the real thing.
